The Abercrombie and Fitch shop is in West London close to Oxford Circus underground station, easily within walking distance. It is located just round the corner from the Apple Store on Regents Street, and the nearby Quiksilver outlet. The Abercrombie store is a little hidden away around the corner behind Regents Street on a street called Burlington Gardens.

Abercrombie is pretty massive in America and the London store is the only outlet in the UK and is known as the UK flagship shop. The shop is somewhat of a tourist attraction for avid shoppers and you will spot a lot of the trademark Abercrombie shopping bags when jumping on and off of the tube or walking around central London. They are quite distinctive and usually feature a half naked man sprawled across them.

The shop itself is, I found rather intimidating for your average male as there are loads of models and employees strutting their stuff around the place with no tops on! However there are also female co-workers wearing very little trotting around the place too.

Once inside, the college styled shop is full of bookshelves and mock library effects which make it feel more like a club than somewhere to buy clothes. This is mainly due to its dark lighting scheme and podiums with staff dancing away on them.

Pretty amusing and definitely something to be seen for yourself. The clothes themselves are quite nice but I have to say I just don’t get the appeal as they seem really plain, maybe I’m just getting old!
