Yet another cupcake shop has opened in London but this time with a twist!
Sweet Couture are stockists for Selfridges and Liberty and produce amazing mini bite size cupcakes and sweet treats. Sweet Couture cupcakes are just enough to savour the tastes and delights of different flavours and the ever-changing menu keeps you checking back to try their new concoctions.
The inclusion of the word ‘couture’ summons up obvious fashion connotations and makes sense when you see the boutique style shop in it’s period building surroundings. The minuscule shop is located just …

Unfortunately though there is some bad news, the world is ending on the 30th of October 2010, zombies are set to kill us all.
This is obviously quite sad but there’s nothing we can do so there’s no point getting all miserable about it.
The good news is that while the rest of the world freaks out and cries and stuff, you can gather together all the …

I was a little apprehensive about the class at first, but quickly felt put at ease by Cleveland and his apprentice as they make all the class members feel welcome and relaxed through informal chit chat before the class begins. Cleveland is an excellent teacher (better than …

Cupcakes from Beas of Bloomsbury

Recently I found out Bea’s of Bloomsbury is slap bang in the middle of a street I cycle past pretty much everyday! I had previously heard of the famous little bakery through a few mouth watering food and cake blogs, but never quite managed to getting round to dropping in and picking up a cupcake.
London is swarming with cupcake shops, some good some bad. Bea is a cute if somewhat dark café that doesn’t look very inviting from the outside but is packed full of sugary treats once you …
