Originally set up by a collection of snowboarders and skateboarders with the aim of creating clothing with roots in a subculture that sets its own rules and follows its own trends. The collections founders and supporters also feature some familiar faces in the shape of Jason Leigh and Giovanni Ribisi of My Name is Earl fame.

LCB is a cool hang-out in East London and stocks loads of great surf, skating and snowboarding brands such as analog, volcom, vans, wesc, von zipper, blueprint, forum, gravis, nixon, dakine, and spy. They have quite large selections of snowboarding and surfing gear and you can even pick up surf boards in the shop. The back room has loads of equipment and is the perfect place to pick up last minute supplies before a snowboarding trip.

The Trocadero centre used to home to the legendary Segaworld until 1999 which was a monster games arcade features loads of cool simulators and rides as well as bucket loads of arcade booths and cabinets.
Trocadero is a little sad and old now but still has some of it’s original charm and plenty of games and arcade machines to splash some cash on. The layout is spread over a confusing one-way system of ropey looking staircases and gangways.

Mash is one of those uber trendy clothes shops on Oxford Street which boasts some top names in urban fashion and streetwear. Mash stocks the likes of Carhatt, Zoo York, Fenchurch and recently introduced Terratag lines.
They stock both mens and ladies wear but the main focus seems to be on menswear, there is loads of stock in the shop and Mash also stock lines which are difficult to find in other shops. Mash have an extremely large accessories range along with designer watches and jewellery too.

London has become awash with flashmobs and organised dancing events over the last few months due mainly to the success of T-mobile events such as Pink singing in Trafalgar Square and the organised flashmob in Liverpool street which was plastered all over the telly a while back.
Well the Southbank centre have also jumped on the mob mentality and on Sunday 30th August at 3pm, London’s Southbank Centre will play host to ‘DanceMob’, a mass synchronised ‘Flash Mob’ style dance routine, choreographed by Into the Hoods creator Kate Prince.

On a dowdy mid-week evening we headed down to Volupte Lounge, tucked away in the middle of central London, just off Fleet Street. As soon as you step into the place you can smell decadence, glamour and general fanciness.
Originally burlesque started out as a form of entertainment for the working classes and as a way to ridicule the upper classes. It originates from the US and usually involves lingerie, tassels, striptease and a good ounce of comedy. Volupte Lounge has the perfect amount of all of these things!
