A gallery of East London Graffiti pictures gallery

This section and gallery is not specifically restricted to particular artists but instead covers the popular graffiti grounds of East London. As the street art landscape is ever changing in this part of London, hopefully the images seen here will grow over time.

One of the main aims of this section is to document past graffiti pieces, which were not up for that long in the hopes that the work and effort people have put into them is gone but not forgotten.

East London is a vibrant hub of art and a mash-up of cultures. Due to this fact, it seems the area is more open to street art, and for the most part pieces seem to last a little longer.

Hot spots in the area include the Old Street area including Curtain Road, which has long been the stomping grounds of mainstream artists such as Banksy and Obey and also provides canvas space for lesser-known artists such as Snub and Faile.

The scale of the buildings in this area also allows for larger pieces. It is not uncommon to see whole buildings and walls covered by one piece, suggesting the co-operation of local businesses and shops.

Every changing but always worth a visit, this should probably be the first spot to find some good graffiti in London.
