A gallery of Eine graffiti pictures in London

Eine is a German graffiti artist whose colourful and playful large scale lettering and words have for a long time beautified the shop shutters of East London. These bright and colourful letters are often painted on shop and business shutters, and correspond to the name of the business. They can be seen all over East London in areas such as Shoreditch, Bethnal Green and Hackney.

Eine is also quite well known for painting larger scale phrases on walkways and tunnel walls around London. One of the most popular is the ‘scary’ sign, which can be seen near the bar Cargo. Eine also painted my personal favourite, the ‘exciting’ piece found just around the corner from Electricity Showrooms towards the bottom of Old Street.

Another famous piece by Eine is the no longer existing (to my knowledge) ‘Vandalism’ piece which spectacularly covered an entire building wall in perfect crisp retro typography. This created quite a bit of a stir as it meticulously conveyed a message highlighting the subject of Eine’s work, and used to be located close to Great Eastern Street.

Recently Eine gained dubious notoriety by appearing as the cover artwork for the album ‘This is Alphabeat’ by Danish pop group Alphabeat. This helped to extend his profile in the public eye.
