London is home to some amusingly named shops so I thought I would put together a little list of some of my favourites it seems that fish and chip shops are pretty up on the pun filled business names!

Curl Up and Dye

First up is Curl Up and Dye, a hairdresser on Picardy Street. There’s loads of funny hairdressers in London that cater for pretty much every style and price range.

Snog

Snog is a really cool frozen yoghurt shop, which is slap bang in the middle of Soho. It’s bright pink and full of frozen goodness snacks which are marginally more healthy than ice cream.

Fishcoteque

A highly regarded fish and chip shop offering top quality fish suppers in the capital. Still they don’t compare to local chippies up North!

Rock and Sole Plaice

Tucked away in Covent Garden this take-away chippy or sit in restaurant is a good stop off after some shopping around central London. Prices are quite reasonable and they do good chip butties too.

Kinda cheating because it’s part of a chain this fitness shop has an encouraging pun of a name for all ladies that don’t want to become sweaty betties.

Get Stuffed

This one has to be seen to believed a taxidermy shop stuffed (pardon the pun) full of all sorts of animals including polar bears, sharks and even giraffes.

FishBone

Another fish and chip outlet in London that is mainly tailored towards take-aways but also has a couple of tiny tables too. They do awesome fat chips and nice mushy peas.
